A simple gesture of gratitude left a lasting impression at one of the ZPRAA 2026 billeting sites in Isabela City.
A teacher from Westside Elementary School, whose classroom was used to house Para Games technical officials during the meet, returned after the event to clean and restore the space, only to find a handwritten thank-you note and small tokens left behind.
The note expressed appreciation for the warm accommodation and shared how the visitors felt comfortable and “at home” during their stay. Alongside it were modest cleaning items, an intentional gesture to help restore the classroom they temporarily occupied.
The experience reflects a quieter side of ZPRAA 2026, beyond competition and ceremonies, where respect, gratitude, and shared responsibility were evident in everyday interactions.
For the teacher, the moment served as a reminder that even in large events, small acts of appreciation leave a meaningful impact.
