ZANDIDAA SWEEPS PAGADIAN CITY, CROWNED ZPRAA 2026 SECONDARY GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

With a display of teamwork and sharp serves, the Zamboanga del Norte-Dipolog-Dapitan Athletic Association (ZANDIDAA) defeated Pagadian City in three straight sets to take home the gold in the ZPRAA Meet 2026 Secondary Girls Volleyball Championship.
The title match was held at the Basilan State College (BaSC) Gymnasium on April 10. The crowd watched a fast-paced game as both teams fought hard for every point, but ZANDIDAA’s steady floor defense and strong net play gave them the upper hand throughout the match.
ZANDIDAA started strong in the first set, using quick attacks to break through Pagadian’s blockers and ending with a 25-19 score.
In the second set, the ZANDIDAA girls found their rhythm even more, limiting their errors and staying ahead with a comfortable 25-14 win.
The third set proved to be the most intense of the match. Pagadian City refused to give up, keeping the scores close with heavy spikes and diving saves. However, ZANDIDAA kept their cool during the long rallies and landed the final hits needed to finish the set at 25-23.
As the final whistle blew, the scoreboard showed a 3-0 sweep, officially making ZANDIDAA the 2026 ZPRAA Secondary Girls Volleyball Champions.
This regional victory officially marks the beginning of their journey to the national stage. As the newly crowned champions, ZANDIDAA has secured the honor of representing the region in the upcoming Palarong Pambansa, where they will test their mettle against the best teams in the country.
