Darine Krist Gaña of Zamboanga City delivered a powerhouse performance to emerge victorious in the Girls’ 40kg body weight category during the ZPRAA Secondary Weightlifting Competition, April 8.
Gaña’s gold-medal effort saw her achieve a commanding total score of 109, securing a massive lead for her delegation. This year’s competition is particularly significant as it marks the historic debut of wieighlifting in the Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association (ZPRAA) meet.
