BION PATROL | TRASH TO RICE CAMPAIGN NG BARANGAY SEASIDE

Sa pagpapatuloy ng “Trash to Rice Campaign” ng Barangay Seaside sa ilalim ng inisyatibo ni Punong Barangay Fitzgerald Tan, nakakolekta ang komunidad ng tinatayang 40 sako ng mga recyclable plastic bottles.
​Sa pamamagitan ng programang ito, hindi lamang itinataguyod ng barangay ang tamang pamamahala ng basura, kundi pinapalakas din ang partisipasyon ng bawat isa sa pagprotekta sa ating kalikasan.
​Ang kampanyang ito ay direktang sumusuporta sa mga Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ng barangay:
​SDG 1 (No Poverty) & SDG 2 (Zero Hunger): Ang mga nakolektang recyclable na basura ay nagiging bigas na nagsisilbing tulong-pagkain para sa mga pamilya sa barangay.
​SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): Pagpapanatili ng mas malinis at mas organisadong paligid para sa lahat.
​SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production): Paghikayat sa tamang pagrerecycle at wastong pagtatapon ng basura.
​SDG 14 (Life Below Water): Pagbabawas ng plastik na maaaring mapunta sa ating mga karagatan at makasama sa yamang dagat.
​SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Pagpapakita ng lakas ng pagtutulungan at kolektibong pagkilos ng buong komunidad.
​Ang “Trash to Rice Campaign” ay isang patunay na ang maliliit na hakbang ng mga mamamayan ay nagbubunga ng malaking epekto, mula sa paglilinis ng kapaligiran hanggang sa pagtulong sa hapag-kainan ng bawat pamilya.
