97.5 RKFM NUTRISKWELA NEARS FULL OPERATION AFTER FINAL INSPECTION

The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, welcomed the final inspection and documentation conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region IX on the installation of the 3-kilowatt (3kW) FM transmitter and related electronic equipment for 97.5 RKFM Nutriskwela Radyo Komunidad, January 30.
Funded under the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) 2024 with an allocation of P2 million, the project now provides radio coverage to 45 barangays, significantly strengthening the City’s public information dissemination system and enhancing its emergency communication capabilities.
The inspection was led by Regional SGLGIF Focal Person Engr. Alison Mayasa, together with PEO II Genephine Caraca, and was attended by CLGOO Arnel Alvarez, 97.5 RKFM Station Manager Jaime Juanito Rivera, and other City Government officials. The assessment included interviews in selected barangays and a thorough review of project documentation.
