The City Population Management and Development Office (CPMDO), led by CPMDO/CNAO Jesielyn Puno, convened the Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) for their monthly meeting on January 7 at JB Dans Hall, focusing on strengthening the implementation and monitoring of local nutrition programs.
Key agenda items included a review of the duties and responsibilities of BNS, updates on Operation Timbang Plus 2026, and guidelines on the submission of monthly accomplishment reports and Daily Time Records (DTR). Discussions also covered the proper use of the BNS Diary, the monthly reporting of acute malnutrition cases (SAM and MAM), and the First 1,000 Days Monitoring Report.
The meeting further tackled the Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation (MELLPI PRO) for the BNS category, along with other operational concerns such as monthly dues and the target of achieving 90 percent and above coverage for OPT Plus 2026.
