The City Government of Isabela, through the Office of the City Mayor led by Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, distributed the Year-End Financial Assistance, including the 4th Quarter Communication Allowance to the Barangay Information Officers (BIOs) on December 23.
The BIOs received a year-end financial assistance of P7,000 from the OCM, and a total of P4,500 of their communication allowance from the City Information Office (CIO), broken down into P3,000 for communication allowance and P1,500 as additional incentive. This served as a token of appreciation for their tireless efforts and dedication in serving the community.
City Information Officer Mendry-Ann Lim led the distribution of the communication allowance, aiming to empower the BIOs in fulfilling their roles as an effective and responsible grassroots information officers, and to continuously keep the community informed and connected.
The distribution of the communication allowance and year-end financial assistance is expected to bring joy and appreciation to the BIOs, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth flow of information in their respective barangays.
