9TH ISABELA CITY INTER-MADRASAH MUSABAQAH, HELD

The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, through the City Local Madrasah Development Office (CLMDO) headed by Dr. Nujum Datu Indal, in collaboration with the Isabela City Madrasah Association (ICMA), successfully held the 9th Isabela City Inter-Madrasah Musabaqah on November 29–30 at Ma’had Attaqwa Al-Islamie, Barangay Tabuk.
The annual event showcased a variety of academic and cultural competitions, highlighting the talents and skills of young learners from 31 madrasahs across the city. Competitions included Nasihat, Hifdhul Qur’an, Hadith, Quiz Bee, Imla, and Adhan. The musabaqah gathered over 600 participants, including students from Grades 1 to 6.
Serving as a meaningful platform for promoting Islamic education and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Muslim community, the Inter-Madrasah Musabaqah continues to be a cornerstone event in fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth among young learners, reinforcing the vital role of madrasahs in shaping the future of Isabela City’s youth.
