GLOBE TELECOM SUPPORTS INCLUSIVE DIGITAL GROWTH IN ISABELA CITY

Globe Telecom, led by president and CEO Carl Cruz, together with its team and in partnership with Nokia headed by president Jeciel Nuyda, paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman on November 28 to discuss the strengthening of their partnership with the City Government of Isabela.
During the meeting, President Cruz expressed his appreciation to the local government for its continued support, saying, “I’m really thankful for the support of the LGU.” He also shared Globe’s forward-looking plans for the city, highlighting the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a powerful tool that leaders can utilize in governance and in implementing impactful city projects.
For her part, Mayor Turabin-Hataman conveyed her gratitude to Globe and its partners for believing in Isabela City despite being a small city. “You are part of Isabela City’s story,” the mayor said, underscoring the importance of private sector trust and collaboration in local development.
She expressed hope that the partnership with Globe would be further strengthened, especially in advancing digital-based programs in key sectors such as education, health, and public services. She noted that digital transformation plays a crucial role in making government services more inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the needs of Isabeleños.
The courtesy visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of Globe Telecom, Nokia, and the City Government of Isabela to work together toward digital innovation and sustainable development, positioning technology as a catalyst for inclusive growth in the city.
