SENATOR ROBIN PADILLA VISITS ISABELA CTY AND BASILAN PROVINCIAL CAPITOL

We were honored to welcome Senator Robin Padilla and his wife, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, to the Isabela City Hall on October 30, 2025. The senator reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the rights, welfare, and cultural identity of the Isabeleños, recognizing the city’s continuing journey toward peace, inclusivity, and progress under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman.
Following his courtesy visit, Senator Padilla joined a city tour that showcased Isabela City’s rich culture and natural beauty. The senator visited the Tennun Weaving Center, home to Basilan’s proud heritage of traditional Yakan weaving, and later explored Moro Island, where he experienced its pristine waters and vibrant marine life — a living testament to unity in diversity and the city’s natural charm.
The tour also included stops at the Basilan Islamic College, and the Basilan Government Center at Sta. Clara, Lamitan City, highlighting the collaborative efforts among the city, province, and national government. Senator Padilla and his party also visited the Maligue Forest Park, took part in coffee berry picking at Tabiawan Farm, and enjoyed a refreshing stop at Tabiawan Falls.
