YOUR CITY GOVERNMENT AT WORK | BARANGAY LUKBUTON

The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, formally turned over three completed infrastructure projects to Barangay Lukbuton on October 31, reaffirming the city’s commitment to sustainable progress and community development.
The turnover ceremony was graced by Senator Robinhood Padilla, who joined Mayor Turabin-Hataman, city officials, and barangay leaders led by Punong Barangay Sarahaida Tiplani in officially handing over the newly completed projects to the people of Lukbuton. The event reflected the city’s continuing dedication to inclusive growth and to improving the quality of life in local communities through responsive and sustainable infrastructure programs.
Implemented under the city’s 20% Development Fund, the projects include a newly constructed Barangay Hall, with a project cost of P4,126,781.66. It stands as a modern and accessible hub for governance and public service delivery — a tangible symbol of the city government’s commitment to strengthening grassroots institutions. The solar streetlight project, which costs P3,734,047.86, ensures better road visibility and safety for motorists and pedestrians, particularly at night, while also contributing to the city’s transition toward renewable energy.
Meanwhile, the solar power installation at the covered court, with a total cost of P519,826.00, provides a reliable and eco-friendly energy source that supports community gatherings, sports events, and public activities.
