OUTREACH ACTIVITY OF THE OFFICE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT (OVP)

The Office of the Vice President (OVP), through its Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Satellite Office in coordination with the City Government of Isabela under the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, conducted a series of outreach activities in Isabela City on October 21–22, distributing school bags and rice boxes to students and community groups as part of its continuing assistance and social support programs.
On October 21, the OVP distributed school bags to elementary students from various public schools in the city. Beneficiaries included Ajibon Elementary School (total of 85 students), Begang Central School (Grade 1 – 50, Grade 4 – 67, total of 117 students), and Kawa-Kawa Elementary School (Grade 1 – 19, Grade 4 – 20, total of 39 students).
The following day, October 22, the distribution continued at Simeon and Josefa Obsequio Elementary School (Grade 1 – 22, Grade 4 – 17, total of 39 students) and Makiri Elementary School (Grade 1 – 12, Grade 4 – 12, total of 24 students).
The OVP also distributed rice boxes at the Women’s Livelihood Center in Tabuk, benefiting various community sectors. Recipients included members of IMLAP, LGBTQIA+ community, and Child Development Workers.
The activity was led by Zuhaira Abas, Head of the OVP-BARMM Satellite Office, together with Rowella Binobo, Assistant Lead of the Western Mindanao Satellite Office (WMSO).
