WOMEN WHO LEAD WITH PURPOSE: ISABELA CITY HONORS ITS NIDA AWARDEES

For the fourth consecutive year, the City Government of Isabela recognized ten outstanding women as the newest Nine Independent and Dynamic Advocates of Women Empowerment (NIDA) Awardees for 2025.
The recognition was conferred during the annual Basilan Women Executives and Legislators (BWEL) Convention held on October 14, with the NIDA Awards serving one of the event’s highlights.
Each nominee was honored for demonstrating excellence, compassion, and leadership through initiatives or projects aligned with the Nine Priority Agendas of the current administration. The 2025 NIDA Awardees are:
◾CONCEPCION ANDAJAO — Agenda 1: Transparent, Participatory, Effective, and Efficient Government
◾JANICE DELOS REYES — Agenda 1: Transparent, Participatory, Effective, and Efficient Government
◾ SHARPY JAINAL — Agenda 2: Peaceful, Secure, and Resilient Community
◾ANNA SAHIBBIL — Agenda 3: Clean, Bountiful Isabela
◾ ELIZABETH SANTOS — Agenda 4: Progressive Isabela
◾ VINIYA MUALLAM — Agenda 5: Culturally-Diverse and Proud
◾ JEANETTE CLIMACO-ROJAS — Agenda 7: Care for Vulnerable Members of Society
◾VIVIAN JUMAWAN – Agenda 7: Care for Vulnerable Members of Society
◾ JENDRALYN MUSTALI — Agenda 8: Health, Education, and Well-being
◾ CRISELLE PUNO — Agenda 9: Synergy
Each awardee received a plaque of recognition and a cash prize of ₱10,000 from the City Government. The honorees were selected based on nominations submitted by their respective agencies or communities, with supporting documents reviewed and evaluated.
Conceptualized by Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, the NIDA Awards aim to honor women who embody the principles and legacy of the late Councilor Dans—championing women’s welfare and the development of their communities toward a joyful, dignified, and prosperous life for all.
