OVER 1,000 INDIGENOUS PEOPLES GATHER FOR DIA DE ISABELEÑOS: PASANGAN SIN KATABANGAN CARAVAN

In observance of National Indigenous Peoples Month, the City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, launched its flagship program Dia de Isabeleños: Pasangan Sin Katabangan Caravan. The event was organized in partnership with the Office of Senator Robinhood Padilla, the Provincial Government of Basilan, and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP).
The IP Summit featured a Serbisyo Caravan—an initiative aimed at bringing government services closer to the people by pooling together various national and local agencies, offices, and partner institutions in one venue. The activity was held on October 6 at the Isabela City Civic and Cultural Center in Barangay Binuangan.
