LGU-ISABELA CITY HONORS RETIRED EMPLOYEES IN “PAGPUGAY 2025” TRIBUTE

The City Government of Isabela, through its City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO) in partnership with the Civil Service Commission, honored its retired employees through the “Pagpugay 2025: Pagkilala sa mga Retirado” tribute program held on September 26.
The event formed part of the city’s celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, highlighting the dedicated men and women who devoted their years to government service.
CHRMO Head Rosella Luna opened the program with her welcome remarks, followed by an inspirational message from Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman. In her address, Mayor Hataman expressed the city’s deep gratitude and admiration for the retirees, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to serving the people of Isabela City. She also extended her appreciation to the families of the honorees, recognizing their sacrifices and support throughout the years.
“Retirement should not be seen as an end, but as a celebration of a lifetime of dedication that has inspired the next generation of public servants,” the mayor stressed. She assured the retirees that the City Government remains committed to honoring their legacy by upholding the values of integrity, hard work, and service to the people.
The program featured a tribute video highlighting the contributions of the retirees, followed by the awarding of plaques of recognition to formally honor their years of service. Intermission numbers added a festive spirit to the occasion, which also included photo opportunities and moments of fellowship.
Among the retirees honored were Dolores Susan Garcia (43 years), Ma. Corazon Siose (37), Lucia Fernandez (32), Romeo Tumanday (31), Ma. Rosina Bernardo (30), Jaime De Jesus (30), Murahab Muhtamad (22), Noel Raval (18), Oligario Luna (18), Monira Hayre (18), Ricardo Atayan (18), Jani Sali (18), Hasan Omar (17), Marilou Lequin (17), Amboy Alih (15), Mon Abda (15), Esteban Polino Jr. (14), Ana Elma Fuentabella (14), and Eracio Castillo (😎.
