CITY MADARIS OFFICE HOLDS ANOTHER BATCH OF ISLAMIC WASHING TRAINING FOR MUSLIM WOMEN

The City Madaris Development Office, headed by Dr. Nujum Datu Indal, successfully conducted another batch of Islamic Washing training for Muslim women on September 20–21, 2025.
The activity forms part of the continuing commitment of the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman to uphold inclusive and gender-responsive programs that respect faith and culture while empowering women. Under her leadership, the city government—through the Gender and Development (GAD) Office—has consistently funded initiatives that respond to the unique needs of Muslim women, ensuring that no sector is left behind in the pursuit of a happy and dignified life for all.
Mayor Dadah emphasized that programs like these reflect the city’s holistic approach to development: one that recognizes diversity, supports women’s roles in the community, and nurtures spiritual as well as social well-being.
