The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, convened the committee chairpersons and co-chairpersons of the Technical Working Groups (TWGs) on September 12 to finalize preparations for the city’s hosting of the 2026 Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association (ZPRAA) Meet.
City Legal Officer Atty. Rosebelle Sanson presented Executive Order No. 11, series of 2025, which formally created the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) chaired by DepEd SDO-Isabela City under Acting SDS Dr. Ma. Laarni Villanueva, with Mayor Turabin-Hataman as co-chair. She also outlined the TWGs and committees, their roles, and responsibilities, and discussed preliminary coordination plans.
The City Engineering Office likewise reported on inspections of billeting schools, designated quarters per delegation, and identified playing venues and cluster assignments. Mayor Turabin-Hataman highlighted the importance of early and collaborative planning, stressing that the meeting laid the groundwork for the successful staging of the 2026 ZPRAA Meet.
