HAPISABELA MOBILE LIBRARY REACHES TIPO-TIPO DURING RAAYAT DAY

For the first time, the HAPIsabela Mobile Library extended its services beyond Isabela City, bringing literacy and learning opportunities to the Municipality of Tipo-Tipo during the conduct of RAAYAT Day on September 11.
The milestone initiative was made upon the request of Basilan Governor Mujiv Hataman, who spearheads RAAYAT Day—a province-wide convergence program that delivers government services directly to communities, especially those in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.
Children and youth in Tipo-Tipo enjoyed access to books, storytelling sessions, and interactive learning activities, enriching the range of educational support available during the event.
Also present was Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, who paid a brief visit to the municipality. Her presence underscored the city government’s solidarity with the province-wide convergence program, highlighting Isabela’s commitment to advancing literacy, collaboration, and shared responsibility for the welfare of all Basileños.
Through this participation, the HAPIsabela Mobile Library reinforced its mission of nurturing a love for learning—this time reaching children outside Isabela City while contributing to the broader vision of building a progressive and empowered Basilan.
