LCW SUBMIT PRIORITY GAD 2026 PROJECTS AT 32 QUARTER MEETING

The Isabela City Local Council of Women convened its 3rd Quarter Meeting, presided over by LCW President Shiela Pararigan, at the Sakayan Conference Hall on Tuesday afternoon, September 2, 2025. Joined by Councilor Karel Annjaiza Sakalahul, Committee Chairperson for Women, Children and Family Affairs as well as Committee on Gender and Development, and City GAD Focal Person Mendry-Ann A. Lim, the council discussed the final call for project proposals for the Gender and Development (GAD) Fund for CY 2026.
Aligned with Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman’s commitment to transparent and participatory governance, accredited CSOs and local special bodies like the LCW are encouraged to lead and implement city projects and programs. This participatory approach ensures communities and organizations are actively consulted and treated as genuine partners in planning and development.
