MAYOR DADAH DISTRIBUTES SECOND QUARTER BION COMMUNICATION ALLOWANCES

The Barangay Information Officers (BIOs) of Isabela City convened for their 2nd Quarterly Meeting, July 30.
The meeting tackled the submission of quarterly accomplishment reports, updates on social media postings and radio guestings, as well as suggestions and plans for upcoming BION activities. A notable highlight was the recognition of Isabela City’s Barangay Information Officers Network (BION) as the 2023 Regional Best BION LGU Implementer in Region IX.
City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman personally led the distribution of the 2nd Quarter Communication Allowance, in recognition of the BIOs’ continued dedication and service in disseminating accurate and timely information to their respective communities.
To further support their work, each BIO received a quarterly communication allowance of P3,000, along with a P1,500 cash incentive—totaling P4,500. This initiative aims to empower the BIOs in effectively fulfilling their roles as grassroots information officers. (Words by S. Angging, CIO/Photos by A. Puti, IsaTV)
