In celebration of the 2025 Nutrition Month, the City Government of Isabela officially launched the Gardenator Project on July 29, at the Marang-Marang Multi-Purpose Hall, where 30 gardenators were turned over to selected undernourished beneficiaries of Barangay Marang-Marang.
Spearheaded by Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, in partnership with Kids Who Farm, the National Nutrition Council IX, and the City Nutrition Office headed by Jesielyn Puno, the project aims to provide families with innovative gardening kits designed to promote sustainable food production and improve household nutrition.
The program included messages of support and inspiration from local and regional leaders, including City Population Officer Jesielyn O. Puno, Barangay Chairperson Hon. Ahmad L. Hamad, Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator Ms. Nimfa D. Ekong, and Mr. Muneer A. Hinay, co-founder of Kids Who Farm.
