DDB DONATES LAPTOP TO CIO DURING BENCHMARKING ACTIVITY

In its pursuit of strengthened information and advocacy strategies on drug prevention, the City Information Office led by CIO Mendry-Ann Lim, conducted a benchmarking visit, July 22, at the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) in Quezon City.
The team was warmly welcomed by DDB Undersecretary Earl Saavedra, who shared key programs, communication frameworks, and national efforts to combat drug abuse through public education and stakeholder engagement. The exchange offered valuable insights to guide Isabela City in crafting more impactful and community-focused advocacy campaigns.
As a gesture of support, Usec. Saavedra donated a brand-new Lenovo laptop to the City Information Office, recognizing its crucial role in promoting awareness and public involvement in the fight against illegal drugs.
The activity forms part of the LGU’s broader initiative to align with best practices and strengthen collaboration with national agencies in building a safer, drug-free Isabela City. (Words by SJ Asakil, CIO/Photos by K. Galano, IsaTV)
