CITY LAUNCHES TOUCH OF CARE GROOMING DAY FOR PERSONS WITH MENTAL DISABILITY

In celebration of National Disability Rights Week (July 17–23) and in line with Agenda: 7 Care for Vulnerable Members of the Society under the inclusive leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman, the City Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) led by Gemma Paculio and the City Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Nor-Aina B. Asmara launched the “Touch of Care” Grooming Day — a heartfelt initiative providing medical and personal care services to persons with mental disabilities.
Held in collaboration with the City Health Office led by Dr. Mohrein Ismael VI and Dr. Rehab Hayre, the activity catered to PWDs housed at the Mental Health and Wellness Center in Barangay Tabuk.
This program highlights the city’s ongoing commitment to dignity, inclusion, and compassionate care for every Isabeleño, especially the most vulnerable.(Photos by Ahmad Puti, IsaTV)
