The Local Amnesty Board, led by PPO Rabia Salapuddin, paid a courtesy visit to Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, July 3, to discuss the current status and future coordination of the national amnesty program at the local level. Also present was Focal for CSO and IP Affairs Norhaiya Macusang.
The meeting aimed to strengthen inter-agency collaboration in support of the government’s peace and reintegration efforts, particularly for eligible individuals in Basilan seeking to reintegrate into mainstream society.
Mayor Turabin-Hataman expressed her full support for initiatives that promote peace, social healing, and inclusive development, recognizing the importance of localized approaches in implementing amnesty measures that are responsive to the needs of affected communities.
