LARGA ISABELA WITH KONSI HAIZER, KONSI SARA

As part of the 17th Sangguniang Panlungsod, Councilors Haizer Salain and Sara Sali-Ismael led a Community Clean-Up Drive in Barangay Sumagdang on July 2, marking their first act of service.

The activity was conducted in collaboration with Board Members Nash and Allet Salain, together with the Sumagdang Barangay Officials and constituents, resulting in the collection of around 70 sacks of waste.
This initiative aims to promote environmental awareness, encourage a sense of shared responsibility, and strengthen the value of health and sanitation at the grassroots level. As expressed by the organizers, “Cleanliness really starts within us. Ginawa namin ito para sa health and sanitation ng aming barangay. Sa aming main salvo activity, nais naming simulan ang mga gawain sa sarili naming barangay bago pa man sa iba.”
The clean-up drive is a reflection of the Sangguniang Panlungsod’s alignment with the environmental vision of Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman, whose administration continuously advocates for clean and livable communities under a governance rooted in serbisyong may malasakit.
As they begin their term with impactful, community-centered actions, the 17th SP sets a strong tone for a leadership that listens, acts, and inspires.
Larga para sa kalinisan. Larga para sa komunidad. Larga para sa Isabela!
