The Local Government Unit of Isabela, through the Sangguniang Panlungsod, commenced the Launching of ‘Larga Isabela’ Administration led by the newly elected Vice Mayor Ar-Jhemar ‘Nims’ Ajibon, alongside with the new members of the 9th Sangguniang Panlungsod, July 1.
Vice Mayor Ajibon officially welcomed the returning set of legislators; the new Majority Floor Leader Jeromy Casas, Yusop Abubakar, Karel Annjaiza Sakkalahul-Hataman, Khaleedsher Asarul, Haizer Salain, Sara Sali-Ismael, Jashim Tiplani, and neophyte Asan Al-Ameen Camlian.
In his short message, VM Ajibon expressed his gratitude and emphasized that the new set of members are chosen by the people and with collaborative and inclusive legislative agenda, he ensured three things — to work for the betterment of Isabela City, to always put Isabeleños at the top priority agenda, and to trust and have faith for the Almighty’s greater plan towards innovative community ending with the tagline, “Larga Isabela!”
Moreover, as the new member of city’s legislators, Councilor Camlian also shared his expectations and full support to VM Ajibon’s objectives in making initiatives and ordinances that focuses on key issues experienced by the constituents, including the future policies and interventions that can address on specific matters.
As they marked their first day, new councilors of the Sangguniang Panlungsod will have regular session every Thursdays, and will work to deliver the promised legislative platforms, agendas, vision, and mission that outlines with their term as public servants.
