Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman and Governor-elect Mujiv Hataman welcomed COMMO Marco Antonio Gines, PCG, and LTJG Arturo Alamani Jr., PCG for their respective exit calls, January 21. The visit marked the conclusion of their respective assignments in the region, where both played key roles in strengthening maritime security and inter-agency collaboration.
COMMO Gines currently serves as the Acting Commander of the Coast Guard District–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (CGD-BARMM) and concurrent Commander of the Coast Guard District Southwestern Mindanao (CGDSWM).
Meanwhile, LTJG Alamani Jr. as Commander of Coast Guard Station–Isabela City, led maritime law enforcement efforts, ensured safety in port operations, and strengthened inter-agency ties within Isabela City.
Both Mayor Turabin-Hataman and Governor-elect Hataman expressed deep appreciation for both officers’ professionalism, leadership, and unwavering service to the community. They noted that their legacy of cooperation and responsiveness would leave a lasting mark on local governance and maritime operations.
