ENHORABUENA

Isabela City marks another milestone as the Isabela Happy Kids Zone (HAPIKids Zone) at Isabela City Hall and the HAPIKids Zone at Isabela West Terminal receive official accreditation as Mother-Baby Friendly Workplaces from the Department of Health (DOH) Center for Health Development – Zamboanga Peninsula. Under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, the City Government continues to strengthen its commitment to providing safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces for mothers, infants, and families.

Established on November 8, 2022, the HAPIKids Zone at Isabela City Hall, and on May 3, 2023, the HAPIKids Zone at Isabela West Terminal, provide dedicated lactation areas and family-friendly spaces that support the needs of mothers, infants, and families. The accreditation reflects the city’s continued efforts to promote maternal and child health and create more caring and inclusive public spaces.

Congratulations to all the teams, partners, and individuals behind the HAPIKids Zones for this meaningful achievement!
