The City Government of Isabela, led by Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, officially turned over the newly constructed Barangay Hall of Balatanay on September 30, bringing barangay officials and residents a space built for better public service.

Joining the Mayor in the turnover were Vice Mayor Ar-Jhemar Ajibon and City Councilors Hon. Karel Annjaiza Sakkalahul, Hon. Alexes Ututalum, and Hon. Jashim Tiplani. Punong Barangay Abdul-Azis Gapur was also present to receive the facility on behalf of the barangay.

The project, which cost P3,740,587.62, was built by 3rd Construction Services. It gives Balatanay a proper venue for administrative work, community meetings, and the day-to-day transactions of the barangay.

The turnover is part of the city’s continuing effort to strengthen barangay institutions and bring governance closer to the people.
